Jess Bird is known for an artful passion that is paired with extensive expertise in the latest make-up artistry trends.
Jessica graduated from Canada’s leading school of make-up artistry, Complexions International, in 2007, building on her lifelong interest in the craft. “I have always had a passion for art,” says Jess. “When I was growing up, I was drawn to the colours, textures, and different ways of making something beautiful. Painting was another passion of mine, and the face is simply another beautiful canvas – one that changes with each new client.”
Today, Jessica’s portfolio continues to grow. With 13 years of freelance experience working in Toronto and Kingston, her knowledge in the field of Advanced Make-up is always on the cutting edge, allowing her to support her clients’ every need, from fashion shows, advertising and television, to film, special effects and red camera techniques.
Some of her other career highlights include contracts with Swiss Chalet, Kelsey’s Restaurant, Leons Furniture, The Canada Revenue Agency, Yasmin, BMO, Rogers, Walmart, Holiday Inn, and Sun life Financial and WedLuxe Magazine.
Jess’ career dreams came true when she was hired to travel to Tuscany, Italy for a destination bridal party.
